Paul Robeson - Heirloom Tomato
This beautiful purple-black beefsteak is a modern heirloom from Siberia. Named for the famous opera singer, Paul Robeson. It won't sing for you, but does almost everything else. Known for its smoky, earth flavor, it's on most Top Ten Lists. It's a perfect slicer and is dense enough for canning as well.
A good choice for short season climates, it sets fruit in cool temps, but still delivers that rich complex flavor that black tomatoes are known for. Half pound. fruits have a deep dark interior and rich flavor. Indeterminate 74 days.
