Strophostyles heluva - Pink Fuzzybean
Pink Fuzzybean is native to Texas, but it thrives most anywhere from zones 4 to 10. This sweet annual vine grows 8'-10' long and will cover a fence in a hurry. Pink pea flowers appear in late summer and keep coming well into fall.
Pink Fuzzybean thrives in full or part sun, loves humidity, but tolerates most any climate. It even adds nitrogen to your soil.
Strophostyles grows easily from seed, but they’re hard little buggers and should be nicked and soaked to speed germination. Plant them in autumn right where you want them. After that, they’ll take care of themselves.
